The Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) is falling way short in its commitment to serving the needs of families seeking the best possible public education. The current plans call for significant busing away from community schools and reassigning close to 25,000 students over the next three years. The WCPSS’s effort to “level the playing field” by redistributing students based on economic and educational needs is clearly not working. Parents, students and taxpayers alike are getting angrier by the day because the current Wake County School Board is led by a majority who is not listening to them at all.
The bottom line – The Wake County School Board needs to change. Enough is enough!
